    Native VB Faxing

    I have searched the forum and found some "proposed solutions" for faxing, but it seems they all depend on on another program or OCX. Is there no way to send a fax from VB without automating another program or buying a component?

    Or learning all about FAX protocol. It's NOT simple.
    You would have to render all of the images and text into the
    'dot-matrix' form that faxes use, then transmit them.

    www.planetsourcecode.com has some tries at FAX software for free. Knock yourself out.
