I'm using VB 5 Professional and I installed VB5 Learning edition ages ago, then uninstalled it then uninstalled VB 5 prof. then re-instaled it and Now I want to use Common Dialog 5,0 and it just does not work, I try to select it in the components menu or what ever it is and it just says
" Can not be loaded
Could some one please guide me on how to completely re-install it all and regester it or what ever..

This is not guaranteed to work on your system,
but i would:

Look to see if any of the following files exist in the c:\windows\system folder:
COMDLG.OCX
COMDL16.OCX
COMDLG32.OCX or even
COMDLG.DLL
COMDLG16.DLL
COMDLG32.DLL
if they do then i would start VB and choose new project and then click on PROJECT and COMPONENTS from the relative menus and then browse to the files which appeared (from the list above) and then exit the program once they were all loaded, that will register each file within the registry.
and then close that project and re-open the problem project.

how...
I'm assuming your using Windows NT. If so, you'll need the MSDN supplemental CD Windows NT Service Pack. You can probably download it from the MS website.
