    Cool

I need a DirectDraw Coding GENIUS! I also need a sound artist. Here are the specs of the program (GAME):

It is a multi/single player rpg, set in the early 100's (AD) about the ancient monsters Nagas and Harpys.

It will use directdraw, 3D Directional Sound (directsound), directmusic, and directinput.

I am new to DirectX but know about DirectSound and DirectMusic. I DESPERATELY need someone to help me with coding the graphics. I don't need a graphics artist, though.

If anybody is interested, please email me at [email protected].

Oh, by the way, the name of the game is Topaz Lands.

what kind of graphics do you intend to have?

I'm not a genius in directdraw i'm new too with it.
But i can still try to help, it could be interesting.
Dont want to give you too much hope though.
    If possible please provide codes.
Process by example is the best way to learn.

    Red face More RPG Specs

I have a warrior with four directions: N,S,E,W
The game does not have an isometric view, it is a strictly top-down view.
I also have masks for the four directions.
I have 34 tiles, to make a random dungeon.
    Example tiles: W-SE
    E-NW
    NW-SE
    SW-NE
    E-W
    N-S

As you can see, there are 8 coordinates that can be linked with any of the other coordinates (NW,N,NE,E,SE,S,SW,W)
I would use bitblt but I must use alpha-blending in some parts of the game: EG. Clouds on the overworld. I also am working on graphics for 5 enemies in the first 3 levels.
    (20 levels intended)
The last level is not created by the random generator, becuase there are special events that happen in the last level.

If anybody knows of a game called Angband, it is kind of going to be like that (except for good graphics).

    SOUND ARTISTS:
Need Fast-Paced music, and friendly music (MID extension).
Also I need (WAV extension) sword clashing, footsteps, door open, anything for a kind of RPG game.

    Thanks!
