This has to do with XP differences....

I have made a program that acts like Hide-It (but better). It gets the name of the program, and hides the program. It works fine in all 9x and Me versions of Windows... but in XP (I'm guessing 2000), the API doesn't give the variable the "caption" of the program.

    (For example "Notepad - Untitled.txt", is "")

Does anybody know the reason for this?

Mind over matter. Then if it doesn't matter, you lose your mind.

    what?

so does that mean that this sample doesn't work either?

Please test it at XP for me.
If you still can't find out, please take a look at the MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com)
