off topic: windows registry file format
Hello,
my question is a bit off-topic in this forum, but I don't know where else I should post it.
But enough words, here's my question:
I'm looking for a description of the file format of the windows system.dat and user.dat, because I'm developing a unix-based rescue disk for all win32-systems and therefor want to program a registry-editor running on unix/linux.
Thanx,
Raptor

www.wotsit.org (or .com or something) might have it.
This is a bit of a specialist case - you may have better luck on the newsgroups (but be careful which ones you wander into )
