Obtaining Hardware information about Server Machine
What is the main utility tool to obtain hardware and OS information about any client machine or server on the network?
i.e. CPU speed, CD-ROM type and speed, Floppy type and drive, RAM info, Harddrive capacity, etc.
I usually go to Accessories --> system information path to find out what applications start up when windows start. Can I use this same utility?
I'm not a network guy, but problems like these often are presented to me. Like usually, I go a little here and there..but I know that there should be one place for this information....
Dammit Jim, I'm only a programmer!!!!
I appreciate your help.
Mike
