Invalid Prog ID
I just created an active x component and compiled it into my windows system directory. I am using windows 2000 Pro. But everytime I try to run the asp page to create an instance of that component I get the following error:
Error Type:
Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3)
Invalid ProgID.
Am I doing something wrong by just compiling the component the Windows/System directory for Windows 2000 or what else could it be...
Appreciate any help...

Well it might be that it isn't registered...
Try reading this: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...703#post665959 which is my reply to someone having a similar problem, but it was not being able to use an ActiveX control in a normal program.
