    Locale API

    Hi All from the control panel you can go into regional settings and set the language.

    What API do I need to use to find this value?

    Most of the time, when the language is not English, you can get the keyboard (codepage) settings and this will tell you.

    There are some other links on the above page for other locale information. When the language is English, you have to contend with American vs UK, etc.
