Deep Freeze???
Does anyone know how to disable deep freeze? They have it installed on the computers in school, and it really bugs the hell out of me. I want to delete some stuff on the startmenu that doesn't need to be there, but it keeps coming back! ARG! Is there a special keyboard combo I can press during boot or somthing to temporary or permanently disable it?
Thanks

I don't think that will work very well... I said "temporary" hehe. That would be a good idea, the machines are pretty bad anyway. But I need to do it just so I can change some stuff in Windows, make sure it saves, then reboot and it will continue "freezing" it after the changes are saved.

Plus it's kinda hard to carry a cinder block into school without being asked questions anyway...

Does your teacher trust you? Mine did once and he just gave me the password.

When you see the dots appear one after the other right before (or right after) Windows starts, press CTRL+F8 and it'll prompt you for your password. Then you can unlock DF or whatever.

Oh yeah... I forgot to ask about the password. She trusts me. It's a pointless class for me... keyboarding. I can already type 90+wpm so I am just taking it for an easy Senior year. I'll ask her tomorrow for the password, she's gonna let me install VB on it too so I can do somthing productive in class.
CTRL+F8 to get into the password area? You have to have a password though, huh? I'll just get it from her.
Thanks guys
