Worth the cost?
As I don't fancy paying a small fortune for the final release of .net, I grabbed a copy of Beta 2 while the chance was there.
But to try it out I will need to buy a new PC as mine isn't up to the job. Do you think its worth the cost to learn how to use this with a Beta version or is it too buggy/likely to change to be much use?
I'm a VB6 developer so I want to learn .net for professional reasons.
All opinions welcome.
Cheers

It's definitely worth the cost. All final release functionality is in Beta 2.
We've been using it for several months now. The few bugs are very minor, and are not a problem for development.

Absolutely, you can get a computer that'll run Windows XP Pro and VB.NET for less than $1000 US.
