Thread: Beginner Needs Help

    Question

    I'm extremly new to Visual Basic and Database programming so I have a couple of easy questions... I think...

    1) How do I compare a Recordset's value. For Example if I have a recordset of 'Recordnum' and I want to use an IF statement if the Recordnum > 5 for example.
    2) When accessing an Access file how do I move my pointer to a Recordset's value. EX : If my recordset is 'Recordnum' and I want to start at 'Recordnum' 5 then movenext through the data?

    Hope some of that made sense... thanks in advance for any assistance!
