I need help with API

Ok i now understand how to get a windows handle, but now I need help on something else. Well im trying to make a program that has a text box and a button. You enter any message into the text box and when you click on the button, I want it to put your message into Napster's box where you would type your message. Then it will send it. How would I do this if I know Napster's handle? I tried the SendMessage API but i didn't get it to work. Please reply if you know how to do this, all AOL programmers know how to do this, so tell me please if you know. thanks.

Try using the FindWindow API to find the handle of the window.
