Re: I think C++ is much a better tool/language than all your crappy languages
I learn VB3 and C++ almost at the same time. It took me two weeks to learn VB3 (for actual project development), and it took me 1 month (maybe 3 months) to learn C++ for actual project development.
After using VB3 for half a year, I can write programs very proficiently (even some very complicated programs). After using C++ for 3 years, I still cannot write programs as proficiently and happily as VB3.
Five years later, I gave up C++ and used VB6 in all projects. This was my biggest wrong decision (because Microsoft abandoned VB6, but did not abandon C++). If I had a longer-term vision at the time, I should rewrite my project in C++ instead of VB6. This was not too difficult at the time, but I was a bit lazy. In the end, it caused irreversible consequences (millions of lines of VB6 code cannot be upgraded).
Now, I can use VB6 + RC5/RC6 to upgrade all my old projects to modern-apps, but I don't have the time and energy to do these things.
Therefore, the final conclusion is that VB6 is the best, to be precise, VB6+RC6 is the best.

Quite agree. I have a project coming up. It is a conversion from VB.NET to C++ (or rather building a new C++ project using the .NET project as a reference). It will be my introduction to C++ and it will be a major mistake from beginning to end.
A mistake is starting off with such a significant project with so little idea of how to do it. It will take longer than it should and I will meet so many home-grown errors but in the process I will learn massively.
The project is to have a FOSS Group policy editor in C++. Largely a GUI and back end to modify registry entries in the first phase. I won't be starting it in a while as I need to do some research. It will eventually be for ReactOS.
So, yes I'd say C++ is a much better tool/language for the job in the context of what I need to do.

I think Malboge is the best language if you want to be sure nobody can understand what you are doing (not even you )

In that case you really want to see either Brainf**k or the utterly unreadable Whitespace
Looks like the first link has been censored (not surprised), sure you can work it out though

I know both languages and brainF..K is intriguing as there is only a few characters and functions. The funniest one is Cow

You all need to learn a REAL programming language like RockStar

That is truly awesome, I can see my productivity dropping this afternoon. Just reading the docs is entertaining enough!

Yeah, that one wins.
You can close this thread now, it's resolved.

With that language, I think you probably could be. The examples seem more like hair metal, but it looks like you have the flexibility to do either one, depending on your choice of words.

Youre right. I suggest we "Make C++ Metal Again". We also need this written and mass produced on black hats.
