Nostradamus
From Nostradamus...
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees latitude,
Fire approaches the great new city [New York City lies between 40-45 degrees]
Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up.
Is there more that he saw?

Yeah, but he also predicted the end of the world in the 2000.
So now all people will try to explain this incedent by using his words. Personally, I don't believe in his predictions.
I've read somewhere on the net that Nostradamus predicted all this and that the end of the world will come in 2002.
Yeah, right, and from 2002 they'll say "it's coming, it's coming,.......but in 2005, probably.

Yeah, i've seen several sources reporting that books about nostradamus have been selling very good after the attack.
But I think it's completely bullox to think that the future is not
influenceable.

I've had this mail three times over the past few days, and every time it has become increasingly specific. I fully expect the next mail to read :
And in the Year 2001 on the 11th day of September,
two medium sized passenger planes will fly into the
World Trade Centre. And lo the media will show
celebrating Palestinians and pass them off
as the majority...
Did Nostradamus have any predictions for this years FA Cup winners?

way to vague
what about longitude? (SP?)
New york is a VERY old city! (it just has a name with New in it?)
this has no date/time etc...!
I could say something like this and in most likely hood in the next few thousand years..it will come true!
all of his work is very vague

What use is a prediction, if you can't fathom it out before the event.
I read that he predicted kennedy's assisination.
Now wouldn't it have been a lot handier if he had said.
If you're names JFK, and you're president of America, and you ever find yourself near a grassy noll in a motorcade in Dallas, it might be a good idea to duck.
P.S. Buy your son some more flying lessons.
Now that would have been helpful.

Nostradamus numbered each one of his predicitions because we knew (wisely) that people would spurt crap and pass it off as coming from him...if it has a genuine number quoted with it, he did say it. If not, he didn't, it's that simple.
