Project References, where did it go?

    Hi all,

    I have a weird problem....

From the VB menu in Project, you would expect to find 'References'. Well for some reason it just disappeared.

Also my Make a .exe file is always disabled. I am using Visual Source safe. Could this have affected the application?

Is this normal? Or a bug? Do I have to reinstall?

Simular things has happend to me. Once my Add Class Module menu item was suddenly gone....
To fix it right click one of the toolbars and click Customize (you can also click Edit|Toolbars|Customize).
Click the Commands tab and pick Project in the Categories list.
Scroll down the Commands list until you find the Reference item.
Drag this to the Project menu and drop it wherever you want it.

    Best regards

Joacim post will get your IDE set back up properly, but I wanted to add that I've had some very, very strange things happen to my IDE, forms and other stuff when I've checked things into and out of Visual Source Safe. We don't use that product anymore, and so far, things have been pretty stable.

Now, I'm not necessarily saying that Source Safe isn't, but...

    Thankx for the info guys

I'm actually forced for the mean time to use the package and deployment wizard to compile my projects... I cancel just after it compiles.

At least it works till I get some free time when I can reinstall. Bummer

Ok I managed to get the option Make executable enabled by going to Customize components, I removed it from the menu then added it right back.

    Don't you just love computers
