This thread should be restored. [RESOLVED!]

    Please restore this thread:

Planes have hit both tower of the world trade centre in New York

Or post a chm of it for downloading.
Todays tragedy was posted there on a minute by minute, simultaneously as today evolved.

It was an honest display of what all of us are thinking, and its part of the experiance that we will now live with forever.

The historical value of this thread is immense, and I was going to
archive it after the tragedy had lessened.

    please?

I agree Lou. I doubt would have been deleted by moderators. If the originator of that thread reads this can they pls restore. I know that some of it was from *******s but definitely not all of it. We can ignore them

    I second that.

That thread was the only thing I could rely on all day to keep myself and my colleagues up to date with the news.

I know Abdul ruined it towards the end, but up to about page 7 it was fine.
A restored locked version upto that page would be suitable.

    Please restore it.

Browser, and Browsing in another when It was deleted.
Sooo, I managed to save some of it, but its in Reply Mode.

    a) I'll get onto John next time I see him

    b) You're right on the historical value

    c) Since it says "forbidden" rather than "non-existant thread" I think it's in the hidden forum.

I managed to get Pages 4 and 5 {out of 6}, they are in this attachment.

    ThinkTank, Good Job!

Now, The data of the missing page 8, which in your htm's are
time coded between "Chenko, 5:09" {EOP 7} and "Kovan, 8:08"
{BOP 9}, can be found on my Page 4, between {in my time
coding} "Chenko, 12:09" and "Kovan, 3:08". {I view more posts
    per page, makes life easier}.

So, How do we chunk it out from Mine, reformat to look like yours,
then make the total easily available?

    Also,

Just testing CHM'ing my page 4, with all the images, {the local stuff and everybodies avatars embedded }, zipping it up, its a couple of k over the attachment limit. Sooo, Definetely the whole thing would be too big.

Any ideas where I could place it for downloading once its ready?

I think this is ridiculous behaviour by the mods. If there is an offending post in a thread, then delete (or edit) that post and if necessary talk to/ban the offender.

Deleting a large thread like this, that we all helped to create, and that for a lot of us was the only source of information is just plain arrogant.

I'm almost tempted to leave the site again, and this time, no amount of cajoling would get me back. I thought this poor moderating had passed.

yeah this is really annoying me, this thread was quite interesting to read, there was no need to delete the thread, and whats more is that none of the buggers have admited or told me who did it, if they tell me "it was one of those things" i will be Xtremley annoyed !!

Honestly, I had no communication with the Mods..So it's puzzling me why they did that..

    Page 11 :

It's actually Extracted from your(NOTLKH) version of the Tail fragment in reply mode.

    FYI:

I've Restored the Posts for ThinkTanks Page 8, and I've reversed,
added User Cells and all the standard stuff, and I've added the
Post Times for page 11, from inspection of my e-mail notifications.
I've altered the Page Navigation bar for each page to go from 1
to 12, Grabbed everyones Avatars locally, and created one CHM
    file.

Anybody want it? OR, the whole directory structure containing the
    htm's, images, and avatars?

    -Lou

PS: It seems there were at least 3 posts AFTER page 12 that weren't captured. Chrisjk, Parksie, and Sc0rp's final posts.
