We Want SurfDemon Back!
This is a petition to get SurfDemon back on VB Forums. I'd like everyone to vote "yes" and show SD that we want him back. Once I get 200 responses, I'm going to tell SurfDemon on the tech dump about this thread.
I'm bringing geeky back...

Aw Shucks!
Thanks.
I might just wander back. I do miss all the mad people to argue with.
But I doubt if "everyone" would want me back (Honeybee in particular springs to mind....... of course as far as I'm concerned, this is all the more reason to return.)

Surf Demon
He did make a bried return to contribute to the "Women and Islam" thread. I think that one got his blood boiling so much that he couldn't resist a quick post (or two).
He is obviously a man of principle or else he probably would have come back by now.

Hey, SD come back. You're one of the few funny people around here. Apart from HB, but he's f-u-n-n-n-y not funny.
Say HB anyone ever call you Mr Pencil ?
That's Mr Mullet to you, you mulletless wonder.

Anyone remember the song Mr. Horrible by They might be Giants? I think it fits the situation some how!

Thanks Guys and Gals!
I didn't think anyone had really noticed I'd gone. It's nice to be missed (unless you're a convict and we're talking about the prison service).
Okay, I did go because I though Mr. Liss had got particularly out of hand, but things have apparently stabilised alot so I'm quite glad to come back.
I do have to say I missed the forum a lot. I look forward to formulating some truelly awful puns.
And as for the 5 people who voted that I don't come back, I must commend you on your sense and good taste. If I ran this establishment I wouldn't let people like me in
Anyway, we're all friends again now, so who's up for a quick game of kitten stomping ?

Thanks Folks!
Katie, maybe we could combine the wet mackarel smacking game with the kitten stomping....
... but then we'd end up with a load of pussies that smell like fish.... er....

Oh Yeah! I can't wait for winter to arrive. I read somewhere that water cooled systems are the best. So I've had my zx-80 placed firmly under the constantly running cold water tap, and true to form it does seem to be running much happier. I can't wait to see my water bill though!!!

Actually, you can expect to see me shooting up the Genome project list (I've been lurking behind Parksie for sometime now... mmmm. not a pretty mental picture!). Up until now heat dissapation has been a big problem for my system. But it's now fixed, and it will calculate a gene in about 2 hours. So I'll leave it running while I'm at work.
