AHHH MSDN is so @#$%!!!
Why don't any of the new functions in VB6 come with examples on MSDN?? All the old ones seem to have examples!! I installed all 650-some MB of MSDN and i cant find one example of the Split function being used. BTW if anyone could show me how to use the Split function i'd really appreciate it...

Split is goood...
VB Code:
Dim AryValues() As String
aryValues = Split("Hello:Rah:Moo", ":")
aryValues is now an array with 3 elements, having used Split to split the long string at the colon...

Ya i understand now chris, thanks, but why doesnt MSDN have examples for the new functions?? Just to confuse people? Or has VB-W bribed them so that people ask more questions here or something...
PS - Yes Split is VERY useful when you need it Especially as opposed to writing as parsing Function yourself.
