    Packet Sniffer.

    hey,

    i am familiar with the concept of "packet sniffing" but i was just wondering how would one go about creating one using VB, im sure there would be API involved etc.

    anybody ever did something like that?

    I don't think you can in VB, as VB doesn't do things at the packet level. Two questions, though: why would you want to write another, and why post in Chit Chat where VB is a dirty word?

    just curious how things work, i wouldn't want to write one and distribute it but just for learning purposes...

    and i worte it in Chit Chat because this is the only place i visit on vb-world for the most time?

    what are the good ones out there?
