What? If are referring to the fact that I said it was what I was after rather than what elRuffsta was after I said that because I was happy with the project MarkT provided. I wasn't going to say elRuffsta like it because I would not have known at that state whether he did or not.

probably because he tought the eventual users would not recognise a picture of a seedtray as a seedtray ?

and you know what is the saddest part ?
if one uses a picture of a seedtray... one does not even have to change 1 character of the code
one only has to replace the visible interface,and get rid of those buttons

but i can understand that is far to easy, and that a picture of a seedtray is a far to powerfull methafor
after all, why make it easy to understand and easy to use...better to make the user completely baffled

and that is just an extreme simple example of what a user might want to do

and do you know what ?...all that CAN be recorded...even in this garbage db
all what is needed is changing 1 property of 1 field

but then, of cource all the other fields are completely,utterly,totally superfluous

and all that can be done in 2 short lines of code (in the ide,as an exe it needs 3)

... it really makes no sense to create a function that returns exactly what it has been passed. I have no idea why such a function would be created.

If you look more carefully, the mCaption-Variable is not defined at Procedure-Scope ... and the line
which comes in-between the return of the mCaption-Result - is a modal Message-Loop,
which keeps showing a Form, which in turn could make a whole lot of things happen in its lifespan
(besides setting a simple Variable, one could ensure "World-Peace" and "What-Not" for example).

Maybe the original Posting is helpful, to understand what the function does and what I had in mind...
