    Resolved [RESOLVED] Volatile IDE configuration

I have added a few buttons to the toolbar (View => Toolbars => Customize => Commands + drag to the toolbar) and then closed the IDE. When I've started it again the buttons were gone and I must repeat all those steps again.

This happens only in one computer. I assume something is not working properly but have no idea what it could be. Any hints?

Don't know, dude, there is no View->Toolbars->Custom on my IDE. There is only View->Toolbox

Anything I post is an example only and is not intended to be the only solution, the total solution nor the final solution to your request nor do I claim that it is. If you find it useful then it is entirely up to you to make whatever changes necessary you feel are adequate for your purposes.

Maybe because you're try to add buttons to the MZ-Tools toolbar.
Isuggest to create your own bar customed and add them there.

Those two buttons in question are part of the "Edit" toolbar (on my setup)! I don't know how you could make them part of another toolbar, if it is at all possible?
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.

Yeah you can make them part of another toolbar. I have them on my main toolbar. When you edit the toolbars you can just drag the icons wherever you want them, you can put commands on there too if you want. I added the make exe to mine as well as the comment/uncomment buttons

As for the issue the OP is having, I would suspect that there is an issue saving the data in the registry

I thought it didn't matter what toolbar you added those buttons to, but the thing is you're right, I added them to the standard toolbar and they remained after I closed and restarted the IDE.

So there must be an issue with the MZTools bar.

No, isn't a issue of MZTools.
Mz-Tools (add-in) make the toolbar (and menu items) 'on fly' while IDE is started, so any changes you made can't be applied to it.

It's funny however that added buttons are not preserved yet other stuff such as error handling templates are.
