Can you explain how mods manage to rack up the post count without appearing to frequent the forums? Is that 'hidden' mod forum a site of hot debate?

Why certainly. It turns out VBF is run by a secret cabal of power hungry capitalists from the planet Argon II of whom Brad is nothing but a patsy. Those gems you see under your name, well you really just cultivating them for our glorious overseers. You have, in essence, been turned into a willing slave. Once you have grown enough gems the mothership will descend to harvest the fruits of your unwitting labour. Then they're going to use them to power a new version of VB6 which will become a behemoth more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Also, it'll support Linq.
