Crystal reports

I'm using VB6 and Crystal Reports 7
How can I get my sub report to use a different date range from my main report.
I want to be able to send the date range for the main report and sub report from my Vb application.

But if someone can tell me how to even get my subreport to use a different date range would be of great help.

There is a property of the crystal report OCX which allows you to enter selection formulae as you can in the normal report. I can't remember what the property is but it's easy to find
