I'm accessing excel spreadsheets, some of which contain macros, and if the user has macro virus protection checked (located in xcel @ Tools->Options->General tab) an annoying message box appears stating something like "This workbook contains macros or customizations....blah blah blah...". I would like to turn this macro check off.
I've tried recording a macro in xcel where I disable this feature but it is not recorded. Also, "help" has been of no help.
I'm thinking that it can be done through the registry but I'm not very familiar yet with this area. However, I'm ready to try it if need be.
Thank.
