Heads up - Office 2010
We are rolling out Office 2010 and it is causing some issues, particularly with VB 6.0. One is it seems to unregister, or register a different version, of common controls and VB 6.0 projects don't come up properly. They just need reregistered. Excel automatically saves a back up we don't really want. The default is Excel documents are protected so we needed to adapt to that. Our tech guys installed Office 2010 right along side Office 2007 (left the folders there). If you bring up Access 2007 it causes problems for some mailmerges. Just bringing up 2010 fixes it. There are some more and everything that came up had a solution on the web.
Just a "heads up" that it wasn't seamless for us.

I wonder if it would cause problems for our VB3 projects.

Re: Heads up - Office 2010
Tyson, I have vb6 on my XP machine with Office 2003 (Rest of the config in my signature below) so I have not experienced the behavior which you have mentioned. Common Controls are not part of MS Office so I am kind of wondering as to why were they unregistered by office 2010. Just curious... Is Office 32 bit or 64 bit?
As far as installing multiple Office versions are concerned, I have never recommended it but you will still find lot of people who will vouch that it works just great on their setups.
