crystal reports / vb

i cant get any mention of crystal reports to appear when i search for help, try and add a reference etc...

i have vb6 - enterprise.

i just want to create an app that takes a crystal reports .rpt file and prints it! is there any example source anywhere?

What version of Crystal Reports are you using? No matter the version you can search your computer for the crw.hlp file. That is the standard help file for CR. However if you have a newer version, I think from version 6 on, there are multiple help files. If you look in the CRW directory, where you installed Crystal, there should be a help file called Developr.hlp. This is a fairly comprehensive help file that should give you everything you need.

crystal reports 6, vb6 (enterprise)...

i`ve got as far as trying to connect to my Access database...but the `connect` property in the active x control seems to want a different format... a dbf file or sumfink...

how do i connect it to my access database so it can read the tables there without complaining? its not across a network to a server or anything hard, just on my pc...

Did you try looking up the Connect property in the Developr.hlp file? It will tell you everything that you need.
