    media player, show the first frame of the avi when loaded

    hi.
    i just wondered if the windows media player component could show the first frame of the movie when a file is loaded in
    mediaplayer1.filename = "xxxx"

    then it would just show the first frame until I give the
    .play command

    possible?

    how?

    thanks

    Well I dont know very much about this, but you could maybe press play, then DoEvents and then press pause ?
