Mac problem (this would be good in a hardware forum ;) )

    Hi

someone gave me a mac powerbook 170 (yes i know that it is old, but it is fun to play with) it has macos but i am unsure of what version. now what happened i put the thing into suspend mode, and when i woke it up it just sat there (it sort of crashed) so i turned the thing off and on again and now when it turns on all i get is a picture of a floppy disk with a question mark on it, so i figured it needs a boot disk, anyone got any ideas where i can get one from. And one more thing there are two little buttons next to the power button, on of them restarts the machine and the other one has a picture of a circle with a v in it, when i press this button i get a picture on screen of a sad computer with croses for eyes and underneath there is this

    Code:
    0000000F
    0000000D
what does this button do and can i fix this machine or is it a case of R.I.P.

    Please help

BTW i am not a MAC user so don't take the piss too much

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.
