[SOLVED] .NET and Windows 8
Hi all,
I want to understand how installing an application that requires .net works on windows 8.
I've seen this question: http://superuser.com/q/491000/85165 but don't know how it works in practice.
Will the user need to download .net 3.5 separately to a download of my program if its required, or will they install it from the CD, or is it already on their HDD with windows, but not activated?
Thanks!

Re: .NET and Windows 8
The user will not have to download anything. I can't recall whether the original media was required to enable that feature or not but it's definitely not an extra download.
