MS Remote Desktop Connection Question

...When I end an MS Remote Desktop Connection session, the local WinXP user has to log back in again manually. Is there a way for me to exit the remote session yet have the local user automatically logged back in when I exit?

Save as your remote desktop session. that is .rdp file extension,. now you can remote automatically with your credentials.

I use a .rdp for automatic remote login. But the local user at the PC has to login manually each time when I exit the session remotely. Is there a way for the local user located at the PC to remain logged in or be auto-loged back in again when I exit the remote session from my remote location?

i got it,. i don't think if windows xp have that.but in windows server you can remote without log-out of local user by remoting in a different session.
but i used VNC. install vnc server in local PC then you can remote PC using vnc viewer without log-out of the local user.
btw.may i know what purpose you are remoting PC? there many kinds of remoting but it depends what you are trying to do with the PC.
example. installing,getting files,throwing files..etc

Ok tks..I am going to try using VNC as I only require remote access for straightforward mouse and keyboard control.
