    Email Notices

    In my user CP, I said no to recieve email notices, and I'm still recieving the notification for threads I'm subscribed to.


    What's wrong? maybe the server sent the email before I turned email notices off, but it just took a while to fully send it?

    Got a slight cough have you Dennis?

    I am not sure which option you changed in the user cp.

    There are two email related ones, I think.

    One for receiving emails from admins -- that is something that that affects whether you are included in bulk emails or not.

    The other is for whether you are automatically subscribed to threads or not, when you post a new message. This does not affect existing subscriptions, and you will continue to receive email updates on those messages.

    Well, John 'ole buddy 'ole pal.... Maybe in the next release of vB you could implement a feature that unsubscribes you from all the threads you're subscribed to?
