[RESOLVED] attachment Issue using smtp.gmail.com in Ms Outlook
i have already configured MS Outlook using pop.gmail.com and Smtp server .i have been receiving my gmail email.in my outlook using pop server .but when i try to send any attachment it says the following .Kindly let me know the idea .any help would be highly appreciated.

Looks lik eyou should WinRar your executable attachment instead of zipping it.

Hi Friends,
i have configure the Mail A/c in Yahoo.Com .Instead of Gmail .But when i try to do Send/Receitve.it Says Enter Network Password Dialog Box is Comming .but per sure UserName & Password is OK .So kindly let me know .any help would be greatly appreciated .

Yahoo POP3 access requires a paid account as far as I know.

As dilettante said you need to have a paid Yahoo account to use pop mail (yeah, I know it's crazy). I found that out when creating my VB6.0 - Mail Retrieval application.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

anyway strange to come to know it is chargeable . anyway Any other free A/C for Pop Server rather than gmail.com .

As Matt asked in post 3# what type of attachment are you trying to send?

actually i found the solution .exe is not allowed as a attachment .anyway i have Marked it as a resolved Using Thread tools.
