Simple Open Source Game
Hello! My name is Noah Buscher, and I have jsut started a open source project on CodePlex that is a very small 2D game that I hope will grow. It is programmed in
Small Basic (another Microsoft product, derived from Visual Basic) and has a level editor that is programmed in Visual Basic. We currently have 2 developers and 1 person whogives statistics and stats.
Some Jobs Needed to Fill Are:
- Developers for VB.NET or Small Basic
- UI Desingers
- Graphic Designers
- Help Doc Writers
- Tech Support
- Website Maintainers
All of these "Jobs" usually only take 10 mins to 30 mins every day. You do not need to commit that much time, but it would be awesome if you do. All help is credited
where credit is due. To apply, please post your email and the job you would like and we will send you instructions on how to get set up. Post here. Remember, you do not need to commit to this. This is only something to put your programming skills to good use.

Interesting... in what way do you envisage this game growing?

Surely not huge. Just a fun little project that people can say that they contributed to.

Re: Simple Open Source Game
I've not played the game, but from what I can tell of the level editor code, the only thing that is different about the levels is the starting poition of the player, food, basket and enemy, and the enemy's speed? There doesn't really seem to be much there in terms of an actual game, so I meant my question more in terms of what sort of features are you thinking of adding to this game that would entice me (and others) to work on it?

Well.. this is more or less a learning experience. We have been talking (me and gungan37 started the project), and it Oscar a lot about testing out new features. We hope to ads blocks on more challenging levels. The actual game Eisner written in Small Basic and there is a link to It on the home page.
