How can I edit and modify a resource file?

If you have VB6 you can activate the resource editor that is included as an add-in. If you have VB5 you need to use something like VC++'s resource editor.

I have vb6 (and vb5) but I don't have the Resource Editor.
I don't have the VC++, is there any other resource ditor I can use?

In the VB6 toolbar, select Add-Ins>Add In Manager. You should then see a list that includes "VB 6 Rresource Editor". If you find it, select the first two checkboxes under Load Behavior and you should be all set.
