    Question VisualBasic 6 program cannot run on Windows 7 32bit

    I have a VB 6.0 program that runs perfectly in all previous versions of windows but not running windows 7 32bit

    Please Help me

    Very Very SAD that u are running Vb6 in to windows seven.......... why you installing it on ur windows 7?
    why you not install vb6 to its place , its windows xp 2002 sp3 edition ,
    and what is windows 7 whats special things are in it???
    i dont see nay special things on windows serven?

    It is probably a good bet the program doesn't run on Vista either. That's where most of the changes were made, Win7 being a fairly minor update in most ways.

    Too bad you didn't pay atention during the DevReadiness period back in 2006-2007. There were lots of helpful materials back then that are gone now.


    If you can give any specific information about what "not running" actually means we might have suggestions. This very likely isn't a deployment issue at all, but one of "correct programming." Programs written to follow the rules should install and run on Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 just fine. The difference is that Windows now enforces rules people used to get away with flauting.
