WinSock Control Problem...
When I try to use the Winsock control("Microsoft Winsock Control 6.0") in my VB5.0 project, I get this error message:
"License information for this component not found. You do not have an apporpriate license to use this functionality in the design environment."
I couldn't install VB6.0 because WinXP(2463) didn't "like" it. I've tried reinstalling VB5 but still no luck. Can anyone please tell me what the problem is, and how it can be fixed?
Thanks,
Matthew

I am just guessing from past experiance here, but when you installed the component with vb6, it sets up a liscense agreement that works with vb6. Since you are using a control through vb5 that was setup for vb6 it dosent read the agreement correctly. I dont no how to fix it, but if you could just reinstall the control alone, it might fix it.
