I am designing a report on CR. I made a table with several columns. One of the fields can be multi-line. The problem is the data is being displayed after the line. PLease see snapshot attached.

One way to handle this is through the properties of the line formats. There is an option to move a horizontal line to the bottom of the section and a vertical line to extend to the bottom of the section.
If this doesn't line up properly, there is another method of using other sections, like a Details B section or Group footer or Page footer that you can put the final horizontal line in and extend the vertical lines to match but if you need multipage formatting, you should test the multple pages and draw the extra lines across sections as needed.
