need help... graphics/image related (may be a simple question for most of you!)

Ok, I've been looking to do animations, by flipping images and **** by using bitblt or using directdraw, but instead of writing code, what about the animated GIF files, can't I use them in VB? or if I can, how do I use them, is there a control available for it? or something?? c'mon I need help fast..

Dont forget Metafiles too...If you installed the graphics that came with VB you've got some. They can run straight out of image boxs.
