Tracking UPS Battery Status
Is there a way we can track the UPS battery levels from a Windows PC? I have searched on the net, but I haven't found anything about an external UPS connected to a PC. All I have found is for laptops and such devices with built-in batteries.

Yes, there are some UPS models which can support this, but is there anything that will allow me to do this with an existing (non) smart UPS? Any controller modules available?

Re: Tracking UPS Battery Status
If the UPS can be managed it will have a separate serial, USB, etc. connection back to a computer, and a management application and/ow Windows drivers.
A dumb UPS cannot be managed or monitored any more than your wall outlet.
