    Toughy One !!!

I've been looking at this one :
    http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q260/5/19.ASP

and attached is a really basic, not much code to go through example of what I've been trying to do - get IE to save a file rather than open it when you click on a link to the file.

Any comments will be appriciated please

    Thank you !

If only, that's what the General Q & A forums for.

naw, this is the first time I've tried this, I open a link to a word file in IE & if the user has Word installed, it opens the file rather than downloading it.

I rung MS who gave me that site, but just can't get the ~:"{:$£ think to work

    Help please ?

Well whenever I've rung microsoft, they've always been very keen to help. And if you press them, they usually cough up code samples too !!
