[RESOLVED] remote connection vb-mysqladministrator

Hi good day to all,

First i would like you to know my specs
Hardware:
2 pcs running xp`s sp3 on amd sempron 2 gb ram.
Software
vb6 - programming language
mysql server 5.0 - database provider
mysql connector 5.0
mysql administrator - database editor
crystal report 10 -report generator

Basically, the program runs fine on 1 pc, then we tried to run it on a network, so basically the 2 pcs have the same hardware specs and the same softwares installed on them.
The main pc which will be called pc1 has the main program or the exe file and the main database.

We have succesfully run through the network the exe file, and is running well.

The problem is, though we are running the system through the other pc which is pc2, the database which pc2 is using is its own, meaning we cant save to the database on pc1 but we are saving on pc2`s.


Any help?advise will be much appreciated thanks.

>control panels> administrative tools> data sources> add driver in system dsn> edit the driver components and network info> poof it becam koko krunch...
