    Resolved [RESOLVED] printer IO function

    i need to know how to call the printer port using vb .i'm designing a toy car that can be controlled using the printer port.plz send the code i'm using vb 2008

    ...why not use a serial port?

    EDIT: Or is that the same thing and I'm just not sure.

    Printer port is parallel.
    Also no-one is going to give you the code if you don't at least show that your are trying something by yourself.

    Do a web search for inpout32.dll. Works really well. There is also a 64-bit version if you need it.
