    offline api reference

    anyone know of any good downloadable api references
    the closest i got is the vb6 black book....

    Just FYI. The API Guide and API Viewer (also available from that site via a link) have not been updated in quite some time. I don't think it has many XP-related APIs listed and doubt it has any Vista or Win7 listed. Unfortunately, I know of no other source out there that is more current.
