Sorry for the following basic ( no pun intended ) questions but can anyone recommend the least expensive vendor who sells VB6.0 professional?
Also, does VB6.0 Professional have the capability to generate easy to create graphs or do you need an add on software such as Crystal Reports?
If you need Crystal Reports, can anyone recommend a vendor?
Thanks for the help and sorry again for the kindergarten level questions.

I can't recommend a single vendor, you might want to try some of the price comparision engines on the web.
If you're a student or affiliated with a any sort of school you can get a deep discount by purchasing the academic edition.

Just a note: The academic version is the same
as the Professional Edition (I think).

Academic is NOT as Professional Edition. Academic could be eather Professional or Enterprise. Academic edtion means that you don't get any technical support from Microsoft. So if you don't care about the support (which would be an ideal case for a home use) then you can purchase the whole Visual Studio 6 Enterprise Edition(Academic price) at any computer show for around $120.
The prise may vary.
