    Smileys in Code

    Code:
    for(;i < x;){}
    That isn't supposed to be a smiley.

    But is meant to be.

    Just disable smilie parsing in any messages where you post code - it's an option when you post or edit messages.

    I did suggest once apon a time that the thingy that looks for smilie code skip ones it finds within code tags, but alas they didn't think that was a good idea.

    It is a great idea, but it's just not feasible to implement it in the code.

    I agree that it is a good idea, but if they can't do it (and I can only imagine it is because the smiley parser hits after the [ ] parser) then I will just disable smileys in my code posts. I don't use them much anyway.
