Don't like Mercs.
The fact that there are almost no standard extras like Xenon headlights and air con - means you have to pay for every add-on apart from the frickin' shell - makes them not that hot either. Needs a bit of AMG tuning as well
Also, the SL looks a bit dated compared to the new S and C class. Still wouldn't mid one though!
Bit of an upgrade though, from Passat to SL600...

You can't get SL600 here, only upto 500
The BMW Z3 M is pretty tasty...3.2 340-ish BHP. How about the Honda S2000? That's classy.
I knew someone who owned a CLK430, that was a nice interior, two tone leather seats, sat nav, xenon lamps air con etc. Pretty good looking car as well.

Buuuut since your not going down to OZ you'll probably have to deal with having something with a little less brute quality.
What about a Nissan 200sx the brand newies!

Just checked, Subraru is Jap...
"Subaru" is a Japanese word meaning "unite", as well as a term identifying a cluster of 6 stars. In 1953, 5 Japanese companies merged to form Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. The new corporation adopted the Subaru cluster of stars as the official logo for it's line of cars".

Hey Gaffer,
Does your TT tend to go very sideways if you lift off the throttle round corners? Or did you send it back for the mods?

Crispin,
I don't own a TT (it's impractical owning a car in SE1 anyway!), but I've hired the 225bhp version a couple of times. I think the one's I hire are the new model that fixed the problem you described above. Have you been in one?

Monday Morning Lunatic
At those speeds you want people to keep away...so don't bother with "Take care: baby on board" signs -- they don't work anymore. Try "Take care: nitroglycerine on board"
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
