Resolved [RESOLVED] Photoshop Elements 9 (MAC) Help

When I use this png file as an application's picture it looks like this. How can I change it so that the background is transparent. I just got Photoshop so I'm a real newbie.

It's reporting "invalid attachment" when I try to download the png file.

Basically, you need to create a transparency layer below the image, then you can use the Magic Wand tool to select all the white and erase it. Then flatten the image and save.

That's easy for you to say, lol, but thanks and I'll look into it.

If you can attach the original image again I'll take a look at it for you.

Turns out your image was ok but Mac OS doesn't work well with masking in PNGs. You can use this website (free) to convert any image into a right Apple Icon (.icns) file and use that: http://iconverticons.com/
I tried it with your file and it worked.
