Fallout: Las vegas!
so anyway, money was buring a hole in my pocket, and i went to wal-mart to get the latest BR release: The Back to the Future Trilogy ($55us), and lo and behold, i find a new fallout game!. Let's just say, my free time is no longer free. This game is amazing. They improved on every aspect of fallout 3, with new weapons, ability to refill your own ammo, make your own potions, etc. Oddly they seem to have changed the way the repair works. I repaired a gun up to 100% with a 30% repair skill.
BUt yeah it's a new game so therefore it's a little buggy. I came across a part where it spawned three geckos in the same spot and if i tried to interact in any way with them, it would crash to desktop. Also you can buy box ammo but it doesn't automatically unbox and you have to drop and pick it up again. There was another area where i watched a guy walk up a set of stairs that wasn't there and crouch behind no cover about 30 ft in the air.
I'm not giving any of the plot away, but it's pulling me in. And best of all: thanks to my video card upgrade it auto-set my graphics as "ultra-high" which for some reason still wasn't max on AA.
If you go out and get it (and i recommend it), keep in mind: It's just a game, and the creepy robot can't get you.

I think there's a David Bowie song about that.
I've been eyeing up FOLV for a week or so. Oddly enough, the thing that's stopping me doing it is I got totally hooked on FO3 and gave up real life for about a month. I'd rather not repeat the experience... but I want to... but I mustn't... but I want to...

Fallout: New Vegas sucks - a lot. It's all crap, and is filled with enough bugs to make it essentially unplayable and worthless. It's so bad you can't even get the name right. You hate it and so does every right minded ES and FO fan of the last decade or so. I know it's garbage even without seeing it at all.
It costs £45 ****ing quid for ****s sake. I know it will fail to impress me on EVERY level. Just like Fallout 3 (regular vanilla + all the ****ty DLC) did.
I'm SO buying it as soon as I have the caps.... I mean quids. Yeah I'm a hypocrite, so what?
I don't live here any more.

Do you guys ever rent video games. Even if there isn't a place close to you that rents them there are companies that will rent them out and mail them to you. It's been a few years since I've played any video games but I use to rent them. If you really like one and you think you're going to spend a lot of time with it then you can buy it and when you've exhausted you're interest in it then you could sell it. If you sold it on ebay you'd get more for it then the places that buy used video games that usually don't give you much.

due to issues with the online use of the keys, it's almost impossible to find a place that sells used pc games anymore.
As for the bugs, i haven't actually had that much of a problem with it today. It crashed to desktop once, and i played it for about four hours
I did discover that there are more perks than the ones in the list. I earned "lord death" today for killing a large enough assortment of creatures. Now i get a bonus against... everything.

Any idea if Mafia 2 is out yet?
Just found it's been released. Dunno if it will be available in India soon.

Mafia 2 was out for quite a while, and was widely panned for being all style, no real substance.
