Re: images for animation
Can you elaborate on "find"?
Software I use and highly recommend: Opera, Miranda IM, Peerblock, Winamp, Unlocker Assistant, JoyToKey, Virtual CloneDrive, Secunia PSI, ExplorerXP, GOM Player, Real Alternative, Quicktime Alternative,Sumatra PDF, and non-freeware: Photoshop and VB6( ).
My codebank: AllRGB, Rounded Rectangle(math), Binary Server, Buddy Paint, LoadPictureGDI+, System GUID/Volume Serial, HexToAsc, List all processes and their paths, quasiString matching
Strings(search, extraction, retrieval etc): Retrieve BBCode Link from HTML, RemoveBetween ()'s, strFindBetween(str1,str2), Insert text in HTML, HTML - GetSpanByID

Re: images for animation
Are you trying to suggest use of multiple images to create motion like as in a rotating loading icon or something like that?

Re: images for animation
You can use Photoshop and Imageready together to create GIF animations. And also, there are so many free GIF creators available in the internet...

Re: images for animation
As this question is not specific to VB6 it does not belong in the VB6 forum - thread moved to General Developer

For non-moving pictures (ie: single frames that you will use code to switch between), you can use the Paint (or PaintBrush) program that it is included with Windows, or alternatives such as Paint.Net and Gimp (both are free).
