I wanted to look at the photos entered in some previous photography contests of mine so I did an Advanced Search with the criteria you see at the top of the image. I did a similar search for "photo*" and got similar results. Why aren't my earlier contests (1, 2 and 3) showing up?
What was your criteria? I had done "Site:vbforums.com "photography contest" earlier but since I have that phrase in my signature I got thousands of hits and didn't want to look through all of them.
Strange, I used: "photography contest" site:vbforums.com
...which got "about 103 results", so it wasn't much to look thru.
I found a better way, use the search feature here with no keywords, but "threads started by" and order by number of replies - all six photo contest threads are at/near the top.
There has always been something odd about the vBulletin search. It does it on every forum I have seen. Sometimes you type in the exact title of a thread that you know is there because you started it and it wont show up. It seems to be completely random.
Slower than a crippled Vista
More buggy than a fresh XP install
Look! Down the road, some 50 miles behind the drunken snail.
It's Ubuntu!
Yeah, someone on here (forget who) told me the same thing when I was helping him find several threads of his that seemed to have vanished for the vbforums search engine.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu. https://get.cryptobrowser.site/30/4111672

This isn't just CC, either. There are one or two of mine in the CodeBank that won't show up when I search for words in the title, regardless of what words I use.

As suggested in other threads it seems like it is the fault of the search function used on vbforums.
